2 Day Intensive Landscape Powder Painting with Michael Skrtic

• Second Session: March 1 (Saturday), 2:00 PM–4:00 PM

Description:
Join us for an exclusive two-day workshop with studio owner Michael, a fused glass artist with over 30 years of experience, celebrated for his stunning large-scale landscape powder paintings.

This intensive workshop offers a rare opportunity to learn Michael’s unique powder “painting” technique, where glass powders are layered and sifted to create vibrant, detailed landscapes. Participants will design and create an 11×14 landscape fused glass piece, working hands-on with Michael throughout the process.

What to Expect:

• Session 1 (February 24): Bring a variety of landscape references to choose from. Michael will guide you in mapping and laying out your landscape, focusing on creating the background. Your piece will then be fired.
• Session 2 (March 2): Return to complete the middleground and foreground details of your piece. Adding floral greens, trees, fields of hay, snowy mountains, breezy beaches, whatever have you. After firing, your finished artwork will be ready for pick-up within the week.

Workshop Fee: $325 for both sessions.
This is a one-time seasonal offering and a chance to work closely with Michael to create something truly extraordinary.
